Volunteering
UPDATE: Due to the overwhelming interest in volunteering for this year's SFIAAFF, we are no longer able to accommodate new volunteers. Please check back next year!
Every March, over 250 volunteers from around the Bay Area log almost 2,500 hours to make the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival a success. SFIAAFF volunteers serve in a variety of capacities across the festival, from box office to galas and receptions, from ticket taking to driving festival guests.
Perks for volunteers include:
- Vouchers for festival screenings
- Meet film industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts
- Festival T-shirt
- Work off parking tickets
- Volunteer Appreciation Bash
We ask all volunteers to commit to a minimum of three shifts over the course of the festival (approx. 12 hours), and attend one of the following Volunteer Orientations:
Returning Volunteers Sign-Ups Wednesday February 22nd 6-8 pm
Volunteer Orientation Saturday February 25th 1-3 pm
