Festival Tips

Buy tickets early
The majority of screenings sell out! Become a CAAM member to enjoy exclusive advance sales or purchase tickets online starting February 19. Special tip: Buy an extra ticket for a friend (or date) to be named later.
Interact on the forums
Talk back and share your thoughts with others. The forum will launch February 13. Check back on this website then.
Promote the festival
Place our nifty banners on your website, Myspace or blog, using Manja Promote. Coming soon.

Arrive early
Finding parking in San Francisco can be tough, so plan accordingly. Check out page 15 for more info about our Venues and Parking. Even with a ticket, you MUST arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the screening to guarantee a seat.
Try rush lines
Even if a screening is sold out, we will sell tickets for any empty seats 15 minutes prior to showtime. Queue up in the Rush Line for a chance to get in!
Shop Japantown
In between shows, take advantage of discounts and special offers that are only available March 1522. Check our website for details. Special tip: Take that special someone out to one of Japantowns many restaurants before or after the show.

Stay for Q&A sessions
Many filmmakers and talents will be attending screenings and will be available to answer questions after the show. Stay in your seats for an intimate discussion!
