Schools at the Festival

Each year, SFIAAFF invites students from San Francisco’s public and private high schools to attend specially curated film screenings and discussions. Designed to engage, provoke and inspire, Schools at the Festival offers an opportunity for youths to view Asian American films and to participate in post-screening dialogues with filmmakers and members of the community. Through subsidized, low-cost tickets, thousands of students have attended SFIAAFF through the Schools at the Festival program and been introduced to the worlds of independent and Asian American film.

This year’s Schools at the Festival screenings will be held March 17–19, 2008. If you are an educator and interested in participating in SFIAAFF’s Schools at the Festival program, please email LeRoid David at ldavid [at] asianamericanmedia [dot] org or call 415.863.0814 x 221 for more details.
