Built in 1910, the Landmark Clay Theatre is one of the oldest of its kinds in San Francisco. Originally a nickelodeon house, the Clay went on to break molds by hosting the first midnight movie in SF as well as screening many controversial films. Combining modern improvements with its old-school flavor, the Clay continues to be a relaxing haven for film lovers.
