The San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, presented by the Center for Asian American Media, is the nation’s largest and most prestigious event dedicated to exhibiting Asian American and Asian film and video. Since 1982, the Film Festival has offered the best in American independent and world cinema, ranging from first-time short works to Academy, Emmy and other award-winning films. In 2010, the Festival celebrates its 28th season, March 11-21.
